The Empress Motel was built by the same family that owns and manages it today. You will find the staff enthusiastic and courteous with your comfort and pleasure a priority. Motel rooms are furnished with two double beds, a microwave, a hairdryer, refrigerator, and a 26" flat screen TV with remote control. The beach and boardwalk are just a half-block from our back door, so you don't have to cross any main streets. You'll be delighted to find that some of Ocean City's finest restaurants are within two blocks of our front door, as well as convenience stores and carry-out shops.

Empress Motel Efficiencies

2 room motel efficiency has 2 double beds in the bedroom, and a double hide a bed in living room/kitchen. Sleeps 6 (maximum occupancy). Fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, electric range, microwave, cooking utensils, silverware, dishes, toaster and coffee pot.

Private balcony, AC, heat, 2 remote-controlled color cable TV's with HBO. 1 parking space per unit.

Empress Cottage Apartments

The Empress Cottage Apartments are fully equipped with refrigerators, ranges, cooking utensils, dishes, silverware, microwaves, toasters and coffeepots. All units have air conditioning, remote color cable T.V., telephones and linens, but NO daily maid service.

First Floor: 4-Bedroom Apartment, sleeps 10 people: consists of 3 bedrooms with 1 double bed in each, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds, plus 1 hide-a-sofa in living area. Tile bath with tub and shower, second and third baths - shower only. Also includes a separate kitchen, dining and utility room. (Limited to 3 parking spaces per rental unit.)

Second Floor: 3-Bedroom Apartment, sleeps 8 people: consists of 2 bedrooms with 1 double bed in each, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds, plus 1 hide-a-sofa in living area. Tile bath with tub and shower, plus second bath with shower only. Also includes a private front porch. (Limited to 2 parking spaces per rental unit.)

Third Floor: 1-Bedroom Attic Efficiency, sleeps 4 people: consists of 2 double beds in bedroom and contains 1 bath with shower only. Also includes a private deck. Sorry, no microwave. (Limited to 1 parking space.)

Directions

From Route 50 Bridge: Follow Baltimore Avenue north to 20th Street.
From Route 90 Bridge: Follow Coastal Highway (becomes Philadelphia Avenue at 33rd Street) south to 17th Street and turn left onto Baltimore Avenue, and follow to 20th Street.
